Investment Opportunity
Looking for a 1 billion ISK investment.
60 days after investment the inital sum + 20% will be returned.
I could actually use considerably more ISK but as this is my first foray into this area I am trying to keep it small.
Minimum investment: 100m
Maximum investment: 1Bn
What are you investing in?
I run a niche-market operation in null sec space.
This involves providing items that I have over a years experience of supplying to NPC 0.0 at a rate of return that reflects the extra risk taken to get them there.
I have recently (read: last 4 months) run several recon missions into other NPC areas and placed sample orders.
The sample orders have produced favorable results but due to the nature of my operation I dont have enough liquid ISK to make the push into the new markets.

My name is Ballistic CEO.
Im a long term MMO player and after several stints in other games landed in Eve around christmas 2006.
I have always gone for the crafter/producer type character.
I find most fun making, buying and selling items.
After running the trial to find out what was what I re-rolled and started BCORP with a group of friends in January 2007.
Id like to say that as a group we went from strength to strength but unfotunately most of them didnt have the stomach for the infamous Eve-o learning curve.
I got used to playing on my own so thats what I do now.
The majority of my SP is in the industry and trade sections.
Ive tried: character sales, t2 invention and production, blueprint copying, mineral trading and etc and etc.
I have a 12 month sub which expires January each year and a dog called Ruskie.
Why not sell a timecard instead Balli?
Im a long time reader of the forums though I rarely feel the need to reply.
Im obviously aware that trust is something that I can earn only by coming up with the goods a few times.
This is my first step in this direction which is why I am keeping the amount of ISK involved very small.
What I am hoping to get from this deal is firstly more profit and secondly threads that I can point people to in future if I increase the scale of my activities.

heh. Given the lack of good investment opportunity's at the moment im not surprised you are lacking patience.
so some answers, not necessarily in order:
Q. If you have been playing consistantly for 2 yrs, why do you need 1B.
That seems a small amount that you should easily earnt in that time in a profitable business?
A. I dont actually log on that much, I have a wife and a child so my time is limited. I get on enough to make a living and have some fun. I actually answered re. the 1bn in my initial post, ill quote for you:

I come in here screaming "gief me 100bn ISKz!!!" its not a good look tbh.
Q. Would you submit to an audit?
A. The short answer is no, I wouldnt.
HOWEVER I am willing to put 1bn worth of goods up as collateral IF i can find a party I trust. Its catch 22: you dont trust me with your ISK, why should I trust someone with my 1bn assets? Find me someone with the a reputation I can look at ill let them hold the 1bn until the 60 days is up.
Whether or not the audit thing impacts on people willing to invest is not an issue for me: Im not giving the information regarding the alt characters I use to get into 0.0 or the actual details of the items I am selling to ANYONE, they have been a steady earner for far longer than I would have expected and im not prepared to give that up now.

Or you could build a much bigger reputation then take off with 750m ISK, then pretend you had nothing to do with it and start the same scam over again? Oops.....
I dont trust people I dont know, I dont really give a crap if hes one of your trusted friends, I could pull 500 'trusted friends' out of my ass to audit you as well, what does that achieve?
So that makes a few camps:
Camp one:
we want an audit. I cant help you, move along and try not to troll on your way out.
Camp two:
we want collateral. I am trying to help you and as soon as I find a 'safe' place to put some collateral ill update the thread.
thank you again for your time, I guess this is pretty much dead in the water at this point unless I find someone I can trust with MY assets.

good points, well presented. Dont like my attitude? I cant say im over the moon about the attitude Im getting here either. In all fairness if you dont like what im offering why are you even posting?
Having said that I can accept that a different approach with a lot less risk is going to be necessary if im going to have anyone invest, fair point.
Ill update the original post with Plan B over the weekend and hopefully that will help ease the situation somewhat.
